Call for Participants - Reworlding Spring School 2026
Description
The Reworlding Spring School will take place at UHasselt, at the historic Beguinage in Hasselt, from May 4–8, 2026! This 5-day intensive programme explores the role of “re-institutioning” in socio-environmental transitions, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and students to engage with new approaches to governance, collaboration, and more-than-human perspectives.
The Spring School will feature lectures, thematic workshops, and interactive sessions guided by Reworlding fellows. Workshops are organized around six thematic lenses:
- Everyday Resilience
- Embodied Engagement
- Emotional Landscapes
- Commoning Energy
- Political F(r)ictions
- Critical Translations
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with these lenses, respond to guiding questions from Reworlding fellows, and contribute their own questions and perspectives.
Who can apply: The call is open to participants with an academic or research interest aligned with the themes of the Spring School.
Application process: Interested participants can apply via the online form on the Reworlding website. In the application, please include a motivation letter (max. 2 pages) addressing:
-
