Launch of the Atlas of Synergies + Open Call for New Retracing Approaches

We are excited to announce the launch of our Atlas of Synergies, a growing collection of collaborations, practices, and research pathways emerging within the Reworlding network. The Atlas gathers research approaches that reveal how humans and more-than-humans shape and care for their environments. Through retracing, these approaches do not attempt to “discover” new worlds but follow existing traces - connections, dependencies, and everyday ways of living in worlds that often remain unseen. The atlas also emphasizes the role of more-than-human actors in these processes, highlighting how they are entangled with human practices.

The atlas invites you to explore these approaches, try them out, and reflect on what they can mean for your own context. At the same time, we are opening an open call for new Retracing Approaches. We warmly invite researchers, policymakers, and organisations who work with a retracing practice to share their approach with us. This can be a method, field practice, case study, experiment, or any situated form of doing that offers insight into how retracing contributes to socio-ecological transitions.

How to contribute

- Send a short email to info@reworlding.eu expressing your interest to contribute.

- You will then receive a template from us to fill in with the details of your retracing approach for inclusion in the atlas.

- There is no deadline - the atlas will grow continuously as new contributions come in.

We look forward to expanding the atlas together and making these collective practices visible.
