Aalborg University

Techno-Anthropology and Participation (TAPAR) is an interdisciplinary research group at the Department of Sustainability and Planning, Aalborg University, that focuses on the relations between emerging technologies, ecologies and societies. TAPAR members are specialised in digital healthcare, participatory design for sustainable computing and technology assessment. The group  includes approximately 25 members. 

The department was established in 1975. Today  it is located in both Aalborg and Copenhagen in two lovely locations at the harbour front, with more than 250 employees and around 1,200 students. 

Research and study programmes are rooted in sustainability and green transition, and includes topics as circular economy, technology, urban, energy and environmental planning, sustainable transition and design.
