Mark Marshall (UL Limerick)
Description
Dr. Mark T. Marshall is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at the University of Limerick in Ireland. He is also a member of the Interaction Design Centre at the University.
His research has focused on the development and application of novel interface technologies to new domains. This has included the creation of new interfaces for areas such as museums, medicine, education, music performance, interactive television, smart homes and manufacturing.
He has collaborated with artists, musicians, designers, scientists, heritage professionals and educators on a range of artistic and research projects exploring new ways of interacting with technology and has worked on projects funded by the EU, NSERC (Canada), FQRSC (Quebec, Canada), Canada Council for the Arts, EPSRC (UK), Innovate UK and Enterprise Ireland.
